Disclosure & Privacy

This policy is valid from 30 November 2010

This blog is a personal blog written and edited by me. This blog accepts forms of cash advertising, sponsorship, paid insertions or other forms of compensation.

This blog abides by word of mouth marketing standards. We believe in honesty of relationship, opinion and identity. The compensation received may influence the advertising content, topics or posts made in this blog. That content, advertising space or post will be clearly identified as paid or sponsored content.

Reviews and sponsored content

If I have reviewed a product or service it will have been sent to me free of charge for that purpose; for my own personal use. If I have received payment for a post, it will have been marked as 'sponsored'  'advertorial'  'featured', 'PR Collaboration' or 'In association with [brand]' and linked back to this policy. This means that I have received compensation for writing or publishing the article. I will always disclose payment.

The owner of this blog may be compensated to provide opinion on products, services, websites and various other topics. Even though the owner of this blog receives compensation for our posts or advertisements, we always give our honest opinions, findings, beliefs, or experiences on those topics or products. The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely the bloggers' own. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer, provider or party in question.

This blog may contain any content which might present a conflict of interest. But all views will be the bloggers own.

Samsung Mob!lers

As of June 2012, I was selected as one of Samsung Mob!lers. This means I have been sent a free Samsung handset and I will be given 'missions' to complete. These might be an unboxing review, an app review or a post promoting a competition or event. I am NOT paid to write these posts but I will have been given the handset/app/etc for free. This is also noted at the bottom of the post and I remain honest in my opinions.

I am a brand ambassador for Jobsgorepublic. Wherever you see  this badge:
please note that I will have been compensated for the article in which it is displayed. I may also tweet or Facebook information regarding the brand, for which I will also have been compensated.

As I use rafflecopter, your email address and IP address are stored via that widget for winner notification  and verification purposes only. I do not personally keep any details but your email address may be passed on to the competition sponsor for mailing list purposes.

If you win a competition, your name, and address that you provide for you to receive your prize, of course will be passed on to the sponsor responsible for shipping your prize. I do not store names and addresses after this has been done.

I will only ever use your email address to notify you if you win one of my competitions. If you subscribe to my blog posts by email you may receive a daily digest. You may unsubscribe at any time, using the link in one of these emails. My subscription mailing list will NEVER be passed on to 3rd parties.

By entering one of my competitions it is presumed that you agree to the terms. If you do not wish to receive emails from the sponsors, please email me to let me know.
